SocketFi gives you the infrastructure to embed secure, non-custodial smart wallets directly into your application. Built on Stellar and Soroban, SocketFi handles authentication, wallet provisioning, transaction approval, account recovery, and fee abstraction so your users experience blockchain features as a natural part of your product — not a separate tool they have to install or learn.

Platform Overview

Understand what SocketFi is, how it works, and where it fits in your stack before writing a single line of code.

Quick Start

Install the SDK, authenticate a user, and send your first transaction in under 15 minutes.

React SDK

Full reference for @socketfi/react — initialization, authentication, transactions, and contract reads.

Integration Guides

Step-by-step tutorials for common integration patterns including auth flows, transaction UX, and backend verification.

How onboarding works

Every SocketFi integration follows the same four-step path from sign-up to your first on-chain operation.
1

Get a Client ID and Client Secrete for

Create an application (project) in the SocketFi Developer Portal. You’ll receive a Client ID (e.g. sf_client_live_xxxxxxxxx), Client SECRET (e.g. sf_secret_live_xxxxxxxxx), and configure which origins are allowed to make requests.
2

Install the SDK

Add the right package for your platform — @socketfi/react, @socketfi/react-native, or @socketfi/server — and initialize a SocketFi client with your Client ID and target network.
3

Authenticate Users

Call socketfi.authenticate() from a user interaction. SocketFi opens a secure hosted flow where users sign in or register using Face ID, Touch ID, or Windows Hello — no passwords, no seed phrases.
4

Request Transactions

Once a session is established, call socketfi.requestTransaction() to propose on-chain operations. SocketFi presents a clear approval UI, handles smart wallet signing, and returns the confirmed transaction hash.
SocketFi is non-custodial. Users own their wallets and assets at all times — SocketFi never holds funds on their behalf.
